5 X Why coffee is good
Are you feeling a bit sluggish and really craving a shot of caffeine? Go for it. Because there will surely be plenty of reasons presented for why you shouldn't drink coffee, but there are at least as many reasons to do so., Less chance of depression.
I'm not making this up, but the Harvard School of Public Health researched it and concluded that women who drink four (yes, that's quite a lot) cups of coffee a day have a 20% lower chance of
depression. I would say; have another one. Coffee really wakes you up.
We often say it, right? That we need a cup of coffee
to wake up ? That's actually true. Just the smell alone makes us open our eyes. This was researched by the University of Seoul. Are there devices that brew a cup of coffee at a set time? Seems much cozier than an alarm clock. It's good for, uh, masculinity.
The University of Public Health in Texas found that men who drink three cups of coffee a day have a 42% lower chance of erectile problems. So...
No Alzheimer's
Well, that's unfortunately not entirely true, but the chance of Alzheimer's is lower among coffee drinkers. This was mentioned recently during an Alzheimer's Congress based on scientific research. Smoking would also reduce the chance of Alzheimer's, but promoting cigarettes here seems a bit far-fetched.
Other healthy side effects.
With three cups a day, the chance of a heart attack or type 2 diabetes is also lower.
Another tip. The best time to drink coffee is at 10:00 AM. That's when your cortisol level is highest (that's the hormone that regulates stress but also waking up the body), allowing you to get the most positive effect from your coffee.
