I think I can consider myself lucky with the label of morning person. Really, I have no trouble at all getting up early in the morning early in the morning, because when I see the first ray of sunshine peeking into my bedroom, I immediately jump out of bed. Getting up early, that's not a problem at all, although my mornings are really sacred. Rushing, however, is a bit of a problem. I prefer to start the morning as relaxed as possible, because I think that's the ideal start to the day. Even if that relaxed feeling has to be crammed into half an hour, I always manage. And you will too from now on.

That alarm clock, that's always a bit of a thing. No one is happy about that hellish sound on your phone that wakes you up from a dream. An alarm clock radio, that's the solution. You set it to go off a quarter of an hour before you really need to wake up so you can wake up calmly with a
nice morning playlist to wake up to. Believe me, it works and that buzzing afterwards is really not that annoying anymore.

It is often said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I definitely agree with that. Before I get to work, I've already had a bike ride, a train journey, a second bike ride, and who knows what else, and I really don't want to deal with a growling stomach. So breakfast it is. I understand that it takes some time, but
Jet has plenty of tips to quickly whip up a breakfast that provides a lot of energy. Golden tips. What you can also do is prepare that smoothie or oatmeal the night before.

A relaxed morning also includes a nice long shower. Now I understand that it’s not always a half-hour of pampering every morning, but you can fake a long shower ritual in just a few minutes. Make sure to have nice products in your shower. A scent does a lot for you. I love the soft scents of white tea, they always make you feel like you're on vacation for a few minutes. Also use 2-in-1 products, like body lotion for in the shower or shampoo and conditioner in one. Then you have just a bit more time to stand under the shower and you’re well moisturized and taken care of.

So that's the whole point of the morning. Putting on makeup sometimes takes an eternity, even if you want to look like a natural beauty. So buy products that help you achieve that quickly and that you can apply in a flash. With a good base, you already have half of your look ready and then
the BB cream from Garnier is, for example, a miracle product. Your skin is taken care of with good hydration, protected from the sun's rays, and it also fades imperfections and spots without you having a thick layer on your face. Then just a swipe of mascara, a bit of bronzer, and a balm on your lips and you’re ready to go.

I assume the above tips have already saved you quite a bit of time, and then you still have plenty of time left for yourself. My boyfriend walks around the room every morning because he has no idea what to do with his ‘extra’ time, but I keep myself entertained. A bit of Instagramming, a round of Pinterest, making an illustration or just flipping through some magazines. Really, it's a moment of peace that allows you to start the day extremely relaxed. Actually, you shouldn't start doing some work things, but secretly I automatically get inspiration from Instagram or Pinterest. I just find it really fun and I can't help it. Keep the morning nice for yourself, the rest of the day will already be hectic enough.
