6 reasons why a pony is not a good idea
That is the question that has been dominating the conversation here at the editorial office for a few days. As I write this, Josselin is being taken care of by our friends from The Building AMS (Rachel had ‘something’ in mind with a fringe and black) and I have an appointment at Mogeen this afternoon at 3:45 PM.
Leco is kind of half living in Germany to prep Chantal Janzen so I was allowed to cut outside for a bit. My beloved prefers me back in my old form, so brunette. Jet also likes me without too much fuss, but I enjoy life as a blonde, so that color... I'm still undecided. Suddenly someone suggested that I should get a fringe. The answer was immediately a loud and clear ‘no’.
A fringe seems easy but you have to style it every day. If it’s not right, your entire look is a disaster.
With a fringe, you have to wash your hair every day, or at least: wet it. Otherwise, you can't control those short hairs.
With a fringe, you always have your hair in your eyes.
With a fringe, you always look the same.
If you want to get it out of your face, you have to fuss around with all kinds of childish clips to keep it somewhat in check.
Growing out a fringe takes forever.
So I don't know how it is for you, but I'm skipping it for now. You can also always buy a very handy clip-on fringe. Same effect, much less hassle.
