6 things that May will definitely take to New York
If you're reading this, I'm on a plane heading west. Where I hear everyone complaining and whining about intercontinental flights, you couldn't make me happier. Here By the way, you can read how to fly as glamorous as possible, but that's another story. Just offline for a bit without anyone holding it against me, shuffling that airplane food back and forth, a glass of medium bad wine (sorry friends from KLM but it's true) and watching three movies. And dreaming about what I'm going to do in New York and what I'm going to wear. That's why I'm going through my suitcase with you.
1. The latest from TopShop
Just before I left, I had a lunch from TopShop at Wolf Atelier where their new collection was showcased. The flower dress screamed New York and was allowed to go in the suitcase.
2. NUX for the legs
I always feel like I'm rewarded in September for everything I had to endure in February. Because then it's about -20 degrees in New York and now I'm treated to a lovely comfortable 28 degrees. That means bare legs and bare legs call for Nux. For a silky soft layer.
3. Dr. Sebagh Oxygen Mask
Your skin always takes a hit from a long flight and anyway, such a big, dirty city isn't really conducive to a radiant complexion. That's why Joss let me borrow this miracle product. 4. Gris Montaigne
As I mentioned before, I like to have a separate perfume for a trip so that I am always reminded of that trip by that scent. My latest trophy is Gris Montaigne by Dior, an exclusive that is only available in Dior boutiques. I wore it recently in the supermarket (nothing human is alien to me, nothing inhuman either, by the way) where a very old man complimented me on my ‘wonderful perfume‘. That Dior is definitely coming with me to New York. But whether I can let it go afterwards to keep the memory fresh... I'm not sure yet.
5. Urban Ears Headset
I'm such a fool who always uses those crackling earphones from KLM. I even watched the film Dior and I without sound, just with subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. That had to change, so I treated myself to such a nice headset. To enjoy all those movies I'm going to watch. And to shut myself off nicely from my neighbors.
6. Filippa K. Sports set
Yes, you read that right. I recently got a set from PR agency Ganbaroo and actually went into the woods with it. Moreover, Jet booked a session for us with some hotshot personal trainer, so it's not my outfit that's the problem. Now that I still…
