that I just can't stand
There are those things that give me the chills, a kind of allergy to them, that I find annoying or that I simply can't tolerate. Some of those annoyances I can explain and others I can't; they just are. “Disgusting” I might say sometimes, much to the dismay of those around me. I can be a bit dramatic, you should know. I'll share a few with you, maybe I'm not the only one who feels this way and therefore not crazy after all.
I get the chills when I see on the menu: “A little trio of…”. Never order a little trio of….
Garlic press. It stinks, you can't clean it, and it will stink forever.
Square dinner plates. I just can't stand them.
When the waiter says: “A little soup of…”.
The words ‘baroque’ and ‘rustic’.
Music coming from a laptop at a party. Where are the speakers?
When someone who talks to you but with whom you are not friends says “Cheers!” when you leave. TO WHOM and FROM WHOM?!
Snack nuts with that crispy coating. Even vulgar.
