A tidy space is a nice space
that makes your house look like it belongs in a home magazine
Always looking at all those envy-inducing productions in home magazines? And that your own little house just doesn't quite measure up to that lengthy production with the most beautiful images? I can tell you; there's definitely some tweaking and adjusting going on. And yes, some items are also borrowed from home stores to make that little house just a bit more charming. I actually worked for a while as a lifestyle coordinator at Flair, and I had the most fun job of collecting, evaluating, and making all those little houses production-worthy with the help of lovely stylists and photographers. So really, I speak from experience. But anyway. Everyone wants to live in a house that looks like a magazine, so I'm giving you some necessary tips. It doesn't have to be that difficult. Although I'll give you one critical point; keep it personal. Home magazines are nice, but nothing is as silly as a copy from a magazine or a house where actually anyone could live. Organize your bookshelves.
Messy bookshelves immediately stand out in a house. They may be in a cabinet, but it's still an open cabinet. Sort them out, stand them upright, align the spines neatly, and for the huge clutter enthusiasts, let's also arrange them by color. Just throw all the loose bits behind the books. No one will see it.
Use small accessories and furniture.
This creates layers and depth, making your house look very
coolly styled and full of richness. Have you ever seen an empty, bare cabinet? No. Of course, you need to choose some items that look nice together. It can quickly look messy, so it keeps you sharp in tidying up the necessary clutter. Make the color palette original.
White is always good as a base, but make sure you're original. For example, use four types of white to give the cabinets, walls, and ceiling a bit of difference. And, an accent color that returns in an original way in the house always works well. Why not a yellow area on the ceiling or a gray wall in the kitchen? It sounds exciting, but it does work to make the space more dynamic and thus more interesting.
Do it a bit accidentally.
A house shouldn't be too styled. Accidentally add a patterned rug or place a
bouquet of flowers in front of the mirror. Something like that radiates creativity. So there is indeed a reason, but it's not too obvious. Emphasize vertical lines.
By emphasizing vertical lines, think: dark curtains, mirrors with bold frames hung vertically, your house gets the vibe of a loft. And
a loft is more luxurious. So ha, that was easy to achieve. Closed cabinets.
A first-class no-brainer, but closed cabinets work best. You can stuff all the clutter in there and no one will see it.
Plant.
A plant brings life to the house. Additionally, it gives the house color, and it does very well on a tidy desk or in a bookshelf. You also see it with bloggers; cacti and large bamboo leaves are
enormously Instagrammed. It works. It adds so much allure. Source: MyDomaine.
