Tops and flops BAFTA's 2015
This morning you were so overwhelmed with news and clips from those hysterical Grammys that you almost forgot that on the other side of the pond the BAFTAs were awarded. In London, the crème de la crème of the English-speaking film industry gathered on Sunday evening for the film awards that can best be described as the British Oscars. The red carpet was rolled out in Covent Garden and we watched critically.
Julianne Moore
Julianne Moore isdoing great this award season. The actress is nominated for almost all major awards for her role in Still Alice and is collecting them in style. In London, she wore a red creation by Tom Ford. Super elegant and chic, but at the same time very daring thanks to the navel neckline that she can actually pull off very well. Her red hair, glamorous in curls, perfectly complements the look.
Laura Bailey
Laura Bailey, British model and editor of Vogue UK, is in our opinion best dressed in this stunningly beautiful winter white dress by Emilia Wickstead with a Charlotte Olympia clutch.
Amy Adams
Another American redhead who is making waves on British soil is Amy Adams in a white evening gown by Lanvin. The dress is beautifully draped around her body and the stone-studded waistband with rope gives the whole a refreshing edge.
Hofit Golan
The British it-girl Hofit Golan had the fashion police issue a hefty fine for this creation adorned with golden stars. The stars were not even the worst part of the outfit. The teardrop-shaped neckline made the outfit truly hideous.
Rachel Riley
The model of the dress might have just passed the test, but that color combined with that silly, dull faux fur around her neck clouded the view so much that actress Rachel Riley has secured herself a one-way ticket to the worst dressed-lists.
Sienna Guillory
For this fashion misstep, we would like to quote the Daily Mail who called the color of actress Sienna Guillory's dress a shade ‘that was very popular in bathrooms in the 70s.’.
