Hoe je je haar doet
According to Frank from Moroccanoil, according to Janelle from O&M and according to our own Rachel all hair trends this spring are mixed and matched. So the wet look in combination with the healthy waves. Now the wet look is quite tricky to create, but Estella from The Building AMS explains in a few bite-sized steps how to make it look nice and not like you haven't washed your hair in weeks. No. This look is cool and especially very tough and sexy.
Sectioning
As the first step, you section off the front from the back. Just by making a little bun. With some gel, you ‘apply’ the top of the hair. This way, you take piece by piece from the front section until everything is nicely and neatly applied and combed through.
Side parting
With a fine-tooth comb, you create a nice side parting. You hold it in place with a tissue, so it stays as tight as possible. Because yes, that’s the wet look. In the meantime, you create the quiff from the side parting. Since there’s already a lot of gel in it, you can easily shape it into the ideal look now.
Healthy wave
You want to keep the rest of the hair as healthy as possible. You brush the hair to the side, for example with a Mason. From there, you create curls. Pin them in place for a moment, so they can dry and take on the best shape. Before you take those pins out, you first fix everything with hairspray. Then, voila: the look is ready.
