Things we love
– summer time –
To get a bit of that summer feeling these days, I've created my new addiction in life. Yes, we are just sitting neatly at the office and even though my colleagues occasionally post pictures of the garden, we are sitting neatly behind our desk. If we sit outside, our laptops rise within a few minutes and actually, so do we. Back to my addiction. Instagram. All the beach pictures being posted are very envy-inducing. It's nice and all, and especially incredibly hurtful for people who are just sitting at the office, but I am especially very curious about all the bikinis. Some really nice ones come by.
Then comes the next point. If I see a nice bikini, I want to have it. Only I usually go on vacation late in the year and then that bikini I wanted so badly is of course nowhere to be found. Pressing the order button immediately is not an option since I've just emptied the Kenzo shop and there is therefore no euro left in the account. At the beginning of this year, I therefore preemptively stocked up on about eight bikinis. More out of panic that later this year I would have to walk around in an old and worn-out one from three years ago. Because I always go on vacation in November or December to a summer destination, there are no bikinis to be found in our country. Yes, it's either the huge sporty ones, or a size 32 bottom and a size D70 top, and I just happen to not have those sizes and they totally clash with each other. Hence my panic attack earlier this year, during which I raided all those stores and now have eight amazing sets hanging in my closet. Thanks to Instagram, I am already making a list of favorites for next year, so I am already busy with my next summer purchases. By the way, that panic attack worked, because since I bought them early in the year, I started working on a beach body early in the year. Ha, advantage upon advantage. Less fun for you, because if you are still looking for a nice bikini for this summer, I wish you strength. The stores have been raided by yours truly and the chance is very high that you now end up in a non-matchable set. But hey, what does it matter,.
