the latest festival trend

The most fun thing in the world: studying, analyzing, and staring at people. Usually results in somewhat crooked faces but hey, how else should I share the latest beauty– and fashion fads with you?

And sometimes you don’t have to look far or long because then your friend just hops over with a very innovative festival decoration. I had a little ego dip, because why didn’t I think of this myself? But I shouldn’t complain because how wonderful is it when friends, like my dear and beautiful Neda, inspire me?

Face jewelry

Like a true Persian princess, Neda has adorned her forehead with diamond stickers from the theater makeup brand Backstage. These run in a beautiful line above her eyebrows. Gorg!

Hair stars

Neda’s hair is decorated with cute little stars that she bought at Primark (Primani, as I call it). But how do you make sure they don’t fall out? “The stars are on a sheet and you place it where you want them. Then you go over it one or two times with a straightener.”

Sticker tattoo

I had seen this trend before at the beach in Dubai, but never before at a festival. How cool are Neda’s tribal hands? She bought these sticker tattoos at River Island and they stay on once you make them wet. They used to be in your surprise egg, remember?
