Fly to Bali even more often

As I write this, outside the rain is pouring down from the sky. “March showers” the radio has been saying for days (yes, I still listen to the radio). You know, I am really fed up with those March showers. I got extra excited when I received a press release stating that Emirates will now fly daily to Bali.

Bali is hot, nothing new so far. I believe that 80% of my friends knows the island from front to back by now, but do you know who doesn’t know it? Me. So I have never been to Bali, not even in Indonesia. On my computer, I keep folders containing my dream trips. The Bali folder is starting to need its own hard drive, there’s so much in it. The harder it rains here, the harder I will search for tropical destinations. And then there’s that press release, it’s just fate that is challenging me: I have to go to Bali.

Extra good news is that on those Emirates flights you can take 30 kilos of luggage as standard and even 40 in business. THIRTY kilos! Do you know how many bikinis that is! There’s a good chance that now that this seed has been planted in my head, I won’t be able to get it out and will really spend two weeks this summer flaunting on Balinese beaches. #LiesheartRio was already a fact, but #LiesheartBali is in the making…
