Friday afternoon drinks with lots of wine and gin tonics

BUT WITH HEALTHY SNACKS

Okay, it's Friday, so for most people that means around 5 o'clock a cork pops off the bottle and the evening hunger is already being satisfied. Which means you actually don't feel hungry for dinner afterwards, but that's beside the point. Standard snacks are toast with spreads, pieces of cheese, some sausages, and a bowl of chips. A bit boring, don't you think? I wouldn't be Jet if I didn't like to put something healthy on the table. Of course, with wine or a gin tonic on the side. It has to stay fun.

As if you're digging into the bar nuts, but in a different way. And that works out well because I really don't like bar nuts at all, but they do belong a bit to a drink, so I'd rather choose this variant.

Here's what you need and how to make it:

1 can of chickpeas

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Rinse the chickpeas in a colander and let them drain for a moment. Then drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle some paprika powder and salt over them. Spread the peas out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and they will be crispy in 35 minutes. Let them cool down well and only eat them afterwards. When they are warm, they are not crispy enough.

ground sea salt

a drizzle of olive oil

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Rinse the chickpeas in a colander and let them drain for a moment. Then drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle some paprika powder and salt over them. Spread the peas out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and they will be crispy in about 35 minutes. Let them cool down well afterwards. Dig in!

And preferably those mini avocados that you can buy at the organic store Estafette. Then fill them with Dutch shrimp, a bit of salmon, or just with olive oil and salt and pepper. A small spoon on the side and you have a delicious nutritious bite.

This is a piece of cake, right?

Also called a well-filled omelet Beat eggs together with vegetables of your choice and salt and pepper, and possibly some grated cheese. A bit of olive oil in the pan and pour in the batter. Let it cook, and when it's ready, cut it into pizza slices.

Take a muffin tin, grease it with coconut oil, and place a handful of spinach in each cup with a slice of tomato and some crumbled goat cheese on top. Then pour a beaten egg with some pepper and salt over it. In it goes for 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees, and you have a super snack, breakfast, lunch, or something extra for your dinner. You can keep this in the fridge for two days.

Exactly as stated above. Just buy those delicious fresh large dates. Remove the pit and spread a bit of cream cheese in between. On top of that, a walnut. Done.
