We hop and celebrate that GTST is starting again

Eight weeks ago I made the big revelation that my life is not complete without GTST. That sounds quite heavy, but honestly: it is of course. That was emphasized even more during the summer break. The first two weeks I managed to get by speculating about the cliffhanger, but after that there was quite a gap around eight o'clock. A real gap, because every time I nervously looked at my watch to get through those 23 minutes without shaking.

After those two weeks of speculation and three weeks of withdrawal, some pretty big news came that kept us, I mention Yvette and Lilian who are very involved with everything surrounding the golden soap, busy for a week as well. Ferry Doedens has been fired due to a little too much. The app group ‘Cliffhanger’ was on fire and there was almost a decision to ban GTST, because without Ferry there is no GTST. Now we quickly moved on from that, because the scale with Ferry on one side and the rest of the crew on the other side made us decide that it would be fine with the juicy storylines.

Let me get back to the cliffhanger and thus the beginning of a juicy storyline. At the end of last season, I had listed the ten possible cliffhangers, and it turned out there was indeed a potential one among them. I remind you of it;
“If it turns out that Ludo is shot, Nina goes into shock. And that means Lucas too. And it actually turns out to be the shock virus and all of Meerdijk is in shock.”
I think it was literally a summer break, because the people from RTL haven't called me yet for a new position as a copywriter. Quite strange, because let's be clear: I was right in the vicinity with my cliffhanger.

About 1.25 million people have been glued to the screen with me to see all that excitement, and apparently about 1.25 million have been bored to death for eight weeks around eight o'clock and have been wondering: what next? But. Good News. It doesn't have to be anymore. Let's hop, dance, and celebrate that it is all starting again. Tonight, for the nono's in the world, one more time the cliffhanger of GTST and then we are really looking forward to the continuation that we will see next Monday. I say; just 3 days, 72 hours or actually 4320 minutes. After those eight weeks, that is incredibly short and very manageable to be addicted again for 223 days.
