The Cliffhanger

– Good Times, Bad Times –

I'll just start by confessing; “yes, I watch GTST.” Now, the division in the editorial team is huge when it comes to
this golden soap. You have camp against (2 people), camp secret viewers (which are about 5), and camp ‘every morning debriefing’. You understand, I belong to the last group and I do that debriefing weekly with my dear colleagues Yvette and Lilian, who are also quite occupied with all of this. Where we started with all the beauty looks, I had to keep it a bit in my lane, the topic has now shifted to the cliffhanger. Because yes ladies, tonight is finally that cliffhanger and we are really looking forward to it.

For that cliffhanger, a special app group has been created. Group cliffhanger where Yvette, Lil, and I are incredibly active. Where Instagram it used to be the first thing I checked, now it's the app. Around 8:00 PM it is suspiciously quiet, 25 minutes later it goes totally wild. The topic is of course what is going to happen tonight for heaven's sake and where we then have to wait two months before we get a redeeming answer.

Charlie is coming back to the Netherlands. In the meantime, she has gotten a Curaçaoan husband and a new child.

Two weeks ago, a cliffhanger leaked, but since we absolutely do not like predictability, let alone the GTST crew themselves, we put our heads together to come up with some alternative cliffhangers that could very well become reality. After Nick has died three times and ultimately lived again and Martine moved from prison to a boat to a tropical island, it has been proven that our fantasies can indeed become reality.  Therefore, we have lined up ten cliffhangers for tonight. Will you let us know which one you would like to see come true? Maybe the screenwriters are reading along and we might see it happen. Oh, and writers. Should you be reading along AND need filler material in
the King or Rozenboom? Yvette, Lilian, and I will then pull out our best outfit and heels to throw a dart or drink a glass of champagne. We can't wait.

Cliffhangers

The rumor is that Ludo is shot on the golf course, clay pigeon shooting range, or whatever. We find that quite cowardly. We think it is more fitting if there is a bomb hidden in a golf hole. When the ball is hit in there, the bomb explodes. Who is dead and who did it; we find it quite exciting.

If it turns out that Ludo is shot, then Nina goes into shock. And that naturally affects Lucas too. And it actually turns out to be the shock virus and all of Meerdijk is in shock.

Lucas and Vincent eventually leave together for Houston, Texas. That's quite something, because Lucas actually didn't want to leave his family due to homesickness. Because Lucas has a panic attack on the plane at the thought of missing his family, he opens the emergency exit and jumps out the window without a parachute.

Charlie is coming back to the Netherlands. In the meantime, she has gotten a Curaçaoan husband and a new child. Nick is stuck anyway, so it can go that fast. But Charlie, husband, and child are coming back. Her new husband is in drug trafficking and is being sought, so fleeing was the only option.

Anton has another child. Guess who. The son of Linda, of course, Babette van Veen.

Maxime falls in love with a new toyboy. Tim, of course. Because the civil Sjors can't handle this, she takes her nail gun out of the closet and shoots Maxime.

Do you remember Sophia? She looked suspiciously like Janine. Ultimately committed suicide, but since the Sanders family will always be a topic of conversation, now Sophia's twin sister is peeking around the corner. And that naturally causes the necessary tension and trouble within the family. Especially when it turns out that she is also Bing's ex-girlfriend.

Bianca rises from the grave and puts Maxime in it. Under the trampled flowers.

Rikki's manager, Thijs, is murdered. By whom is the question. But that Rik, Rikki's father, has escaped from prison is of course very coincidental.

The King suffers from the financial crisis and out of dissatisfaction, Jef starts drinking a lot. He dies from an alcohol addiction. Not that he minds, because then he can finally be together with Dorothea again.
