Hollywood captivated by crystals

In the Netherlands, most people are far too down-to-earth for this, but in Hollywood, they are crazy about it: gemstones and crystals. Not because they shine and glitter so beautifully – although that is of course a nice side effect – but because of the metaphysical powers attributed to these stones. And this is not just a hot Hollywood hype. For thousands of years, people have believed that gemstones have healing powers, can change moods, and can provide protection, and in California, this idea is embraced with open arms.
