Imagine the happiest and warmest person, and Nicole is that times ten. I once met her in a business setting during my previous job as a champagne girl (I'll tell that story another time). Back then, I collaborated with Nicole and her esteemed employers: Viktor & Rolf..  Because this cheerful woman has been standing strong as an office manager for seven years, what am I saying, a villa, behind the talented designers. So I stormed into her office, a picturesque beautiful building on the Herengracht, and snatched a candy from a makeup bag out of her hands. Nicole: “How I look and what makeup I wear has everything to do with how I feel that day. If I'm in an euphoric state, I completely slather myself in makeup. Thickly made-up eyes and a bright lipstick. I completely disregard makeup etiquette. Do I let myself go since I have a son? Not at all. I actually pay more attention to my appearance and aim for the ultimate MILF status, haha.” Wow. What does a MILF typically have in her work makeup bag? Nicole emphasized it a few times: this is her everyday and minimal makeup bag that goes with her in every bag. At home, she has a very extensive collection. I already get very happy from the pink Viktor & Rolf (how could it be otherwise) version. I mainly see YSL: the Golden Gloss lip gloss, the Rouge Pur Couture Mat dark brown lipstick (nr. 206) and the amazing Pure Chromatics four-color eyeshadow in green shades (nr. 10).  I can already feel a quickening heartbeat coming. Hooray, I see the lovely Rouge Allure Velvet pencil of Chanel in one of my favorite colors: dark pink (nr. 46). Nicole also has the classic Kiehl’s Lip Balm that you can’t live without. But then I find something strange: some kind of plastic ring with a magnifying glass. After a brain freeze, this looks a lot like a ring size measurer. But what is something like that doing in Nicole's bag?

That YSL eyeshadow is amazing! I really love green and dark shades on my eyes anyway, but this one is really nice. The applicator brushes hold well and you need little of the powder for a covering effect. Both the Chanel and YSL lipsticks look beautiful. The first is mainly a color you wear in the evening while enjoying a cocktail at a fancy bar. It is indeed very sexy and definitely MILF-approved. And I am so happy with the Kiehl’s lip balm, because after a few hours of lipstick, my lips could use some moisture.

Well, I think Nicole's makeup is really fantastic and I would totally take over the pencils and eyeshadow. For free. But Nicole, why don’t you have a little concealer? A nice concealer stick for imperfections is very handy in your everyday makeup bag. The Magic CC from Collistar is really nice for example. It quickly covers a pimple or redness and also protects against the sun. Then your MILF status is completely achieved, Nicole!
