May's fit and food diary
“And you fit into a sample size, right, May?” It's stylist Anouk who is going to arrange the coolest looks for me for Holland's Next Top Model. I hear myself squeeze out a brave ‘yes, of course’. I'm fairly slim, but fit is honestly a different story.
Once, a long, long time ago, I danced thirteen hours a week and later I did bbb for about seven hours with my girlfriends. Now I work so hard that I feel I should spend the rest of my time with my loved one and my girls. And after each workday, I also feel that I have earned a glass of Chardonnay. Or two.
So whether those model sizes remain achievable, is the question. Today Anouk is bringing my leader look so I thought to take measures three days in advance.
Eating healthier, not drinking, and maybe exercising once. At the end of my healthy week, expert Jet will give feedback.
Here we go.
I start the day with a bowl of yogurt, fresh strawberries, and granola.
Although that's actually muesli. Granola sounds a lot more Jet-proof, I must say.
After that, I had a black coffee. That probably isn't allowed.
In between, I ate green seedless grapes.
For lunch, I topped two rice cakes with an avocado-cucumber salad and had a bowl with three types of melon.
’In the afternoon, I drank boiled water with ginger and lemon and later had a diet cola.
As a snack, a nice apple was waiting for me.
On my way home.
There I enjoyed a starter of tomato with mozzarella and then salmon with lentils and a tiny bit of rice.
At half past eight, I drank half a glass of wine. What a coward I am. I was chatting so cozily with my parents...
And when my love came home late in the evening, he made tartlets of which I took two bites. With some bread. That I dipped in his gravy.
Oh Jetje... that's probably not good, right?
