MAY’S FOOD DIARY

“You fit into a sample size, right May?” It’s my stylist Anouk who’s going to put together the coolest looks for me for Holland’s Next Top Model. I hear myself grunt ‘yeah sure’. I am reasonably slim but fit is a whole other story.

Once a long long time ago I danced 13 hours a week and later on it was 7 hours of working out with my friends. Now I work so hard that I prefer to spend my precious time with my loved one and my girls. And everyday I think I really deserve that glass of Chardonnay. Or two.

Are those model sizes achievable? Well that’s the question. Today Anouk is presenting my leader look so three days beforehand I decided to take some precautions. A healthy diet, no drinking and maybe even a workout. At the end of my healthy week Jet, the professional, will comment.

HERE WE GO

I start the day with a bowl of yogurt, fresh strawberries and granola. Actually it’s cruesli. I’d say granola just sounds a lot more Jet-proof.

As a snack I ate seedless green grapes.

For lunch I had two rice waffles with avocado-cucumber salad and a little bowl with three kinds of melon.

In the afternoon I drank boiled water with ginger and lemon and later on a can of cola light.

My four o’clock consisted of a juicy little apple.

And home I went.

As a starter I had tomato and mozzarella followed by salmon, lentils and a tiny bit of rice.

At eight-thirty I had half a glass of wine. Yes, I’m a coward. I was having such a nice conversation with my parents.

And when my darling came home late, he baked two tartar steaks of which I took two bites. With some bread. That I dipped into his gravy.

Oops Jet.. this is not good, is it?
