How many designer bags do you have?

When I just graduated, I received a vintage Valentino from my mother. It’s neatly stored in the closet. All the bags I carry now I designed myself.

How did you get this beauty?

This fanny pack is from the new SANTA CHÈ Atelier Amsterdam collection.

What does a bag do for a woman?

I believe that a bag accentuates femininity; you can wear it as a practical item, but also as a styling accessory.

Honestly, are you a bit careful with your bags, do you throw them in a corner or do they all sit on a shelf in a dustbag?

I’m quite neat with my bags, so I prefer not to put them on the ground. When I go out to eat, the bag is on a chair next to me or I find a spot where I can hang it or place it down.

What about the contents? Are you a chaotic person or neatly organized?

The bigger my bag, the more nonsense is in it. Because hey, you never know how the day will go. I can be incredibly chaotic, so that’s why I now prefer smaller bags and take my laptop in a nice sleeve. The fanny pack is ideal for me; I take what I really need and I can wear the bag as an accessory.

What do you always carry in your bag?

Phone, bank card, keys, and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle.

Do you notice that more doors open with a designer bag?

I don’t really believe in that. I think it’s more important that the bag matches the outfit. Accessories like a bag (made from beautiful materials) really give your outfit a boost, even your most basic outfit.

Do you prefer trendy or classic? And should a bag also be practical?

I love a mix. For me, the bag is practical now because I can wear it around my waist and keep my hands free.
