Do you have many designer bags?

‘Guilty! Shoes and bags are really a weak spot for me, I admit. I can see a bag and immediately realize that it was really made for me. So I actually have way too many.’

What is the story behind this beauty?

‘The trip went to cold Finland. During a work trip, I walked past a Chanel store. I was busy preparing for Finland, so I was already in that mood. This bag completely exuded that atmosphere. I saw it and fell in love at first sight. That love has never faded!’

What does a bag do for a woman, in your opinion?

‘A bag combines beauty with the right functionality for me.’

What are the perfect qualities of a bag?

‘Beauty, beauty, beauty. That's what I select a bag on. And then you don't always end up with the most practical example.’

Honestly, are you a bit careful with your bags? Do you throw them in a corner or do they all stand on a shelf in a dustbag?

‘I believe that a bag gains more beauty through the stories and adventures you experience together. That time you are in Amnesia Ibiza and you push your bag under a table, dance for hours, take off your stay-ups and throw them in, pick up your bag again in the morning, soaking wet from the spilled cocktails, but happily go home together. Such memories are in a bag and you never forget them. It may not be the most careful way to handle a bag, but for me, it is the most valuable.‘

And what about the contents? Are you a chaotic person or neatly organized?

‘I regularly switch bags. I put all the loose items in a Chanel makeup bag, so I only have to switch that.’

What do you always carry in your bag?

‘Condoms and Smints.’

Is there still a bag on your wishlist? If so, which one?
