MY FAVORITE BEAUTY TRENDS
for the upcoming season
Actually, I find everything about the end of summer annoying, except for one thing. The delightful winter beauty trends. It probably has to do with my constant desire for something new (and I mean aesthetically related stuff, with men and girlfriends I'm quite orthodox). Let me list my favorites.
Yesss, I love this! So simple, but so multifunctional. You wear it business-like with a middle parting but cool with your hair slicked back.
Black lips are going to be all the rage this coming season. If you find that a bit too intense, you can also go for dark red or brown. We already saw it at Rihanna.
This is for me the most saving trend. What few people know is that I have my curls blow-dried out weekly blow-dry. So that doesn't always have to be the case anymore (I'll still do it often, though). Because I wake up, put some mousse in, and off I go. How you take care of them further, you can read here.
I find a side parting super sexy with loose hair as your it creates a sort of quiff from the side where you comb your hair to. The other side you comb very tightly behind your ear. I say: stylish fifties.
Actually, we've been seeing metallic makeup for some time now. But I still find silver eyeshadow the coolest. Just look at the new line from Chanel. You just can't resist that, can you? You just can't resist that, can you?
To the great annoyance of my boyfriend, I prefer to always wear clips, bows, and other hair stuff (he thinks a simple Coco is prettier). Luckily, we saw it again on the catwalk, so if fashion is on my side, the man is completely lost.
Forget perfectly styled eyes with a sharp eyeliner. This winter, the kohl pencil is our friend. We let it run out nonchalantly a la the heroin chic look of Kate Moss in the nineties.
