THESE DESTINATIONS ARE SUDDENLY MUCH CHEAPER

As soon as it gets colder, my whole being starts to fidget because then I want to go to a tropical and distant place. So I keep a close eye on my favorite travel site, paperflies.com, to see what nice deals they have. Now, I received a press release this week with the insane news that all sorts of wonderful destinations have dropped significantly in price and that 2015 is a good year to book. Well, you don't need more encouragement than that, right?

Bali
How much has it dropped: from €593 in 2014 to €475 in 2015 for a return from Amsterdam.
Why do we want to go here: Um, well that seems clear to me. Tropical beaches, blue waters, and endless delicious food and friendly people.

Cape Town
How much has it dropped: from €648 in 2014 to €553 in 2015.
Why do we want to go here: Well, Josselin is flying to Cape Town on Thursday so I'll ask her. “Well because I wanted to swim with sharks and that can only be done in Cape Town.” Um, okay. “And they really have the most beautiful locations for photoshoots,” she quickly adds. Well, that's why.

Sydney
How much has it dropped: from €885 in 2014 to €820 in 2015
Why do we want to go here: Josselin was there last year so I pull her by her jacket again. Joss, why did you want to go to Sydney? “I always wanted to go there. You have city and beach, everything combined. And Australians are so incredibly nice and relaxed.”

New York
How much has it dropped: from €412 in 2014 to €366 in 2015
Why do we want to go here: Well, because nothing beats New York. That's just how it is. We have the incredible luck that we get to go there quite often so just take my word for it: if you've never been there, just book a ticket as fast as you can.

Rio de Janeiro
How much has it dropped: from €499 in 2014 to €477 in 2015
Why do we want to go here: Exactly one year ago yesterday, I booked a ticket to Rio and that was the best decision ever. Rio is warm, unbelievably beautiful, has the beach, a vibrant city, caipirinhas everywhere, and the best parties ever. Go.
