From stray dog to princess pet
A few years ago, I wasn't really an animal friend (I couldn't even keep a goldfish alive for more than four weeks), but now I've completely turned around. Last week, I was visiting a friend who had brought home a fluffy kitten of 11 weeks, and a month ago, I would only say ‘ooh’ and ‘ah’ during the safaris in Africa. So I've actually become a true animal friend. And at the editorial office, we have a gaping hole for sad little animals. And then May also sends me this post with puppies that were once very sad and now sit like a princess on the pea with blow-dried hair and well-filled bellies. Oh, I melt. If there are any photos of sad baby elephants, sweet little lions, or cute hippos going around, you are welcome to send them to me. Who knows, I might take them in around this month to give them a happier year as well. Take a look and you'll be convinced.
