Deluxe vacation book
You just got back from vacation and someone asks what you did there. Even though there’s plenty to tell and your days were filled, it’s difficult to sum up your late night dinners, new friends, purchases and midnight swimming session in a few words. That’s what we experience after a Fashion Week.
Days that start off at 7 am with a Victoria Beckham backstage visit and end at 3 am after a Harpers Bazaar party where Lady Gaga ended up sitting behind the piano. The kind of days you almost trip over Linda Evangelista, Lindsey Wixson, Alek Wek, Daphne Groeneveld and of course our hostess Carine Roitfeld. In between you visit about six shows, have speedy lunches in the best places and see a lot of street style violence.
If only to hold on to all those memories it’s nice to be able to make a magazine twice a year. This way we can tell you all our adventures, about all the shows (runway footage, photos and films), the newest stirrings in beauty land and all the street styles. Nice for us and nice for you.
