SUNDAY RELAX DAY

Today the day is all about mom. But after you've buried her under a portion of child love and homemade crafts, you can go home again and it's me-time. Because we will also become mothers someday (or already are), so we can definitely indulge in that now. So today I'm going to chill ultimate:

Candle Light

Lighting aromatic candles is step number one in this pampering afternoon. The Tinek Home-candles are really nice. The scent White Tea & Ginger is my favorite.

The Mask

When do you have time for a completely masked face? Today then. My poor battered hair could use some nourishment and also a splash of prosecco. Say what? Yes, I use a generous dollop of Hairloxx Hair Mask ‘With a Sense of Prosecco’. Tipsy and all, I let my hair relax. For my face, I use this nice charcoal mask from Clinique. As if a breeze is going over your face, so fresh. Hi peachy skin.

Bubble

So I have a bath at home, which is a luxury in Amsterdam. Stupidly enough, I don't use it enough. Now I bury myself in it for at least an hour accompanied by the argan bath oil from Kneipp. Wow, I feel as fresh as a fish after this treatment.

Body

As I mentioned before, I'm still just a little while in my twenties. I want to keep my still reasonably vital body skin, so after my bath ritual, I slather myself with the ‘Youthful Body Cream’ from L’Occitane. Smells pleasantly of almonds, which L’Occitane sources from Southern French farmers. A bit of France on your body is always good. Très magnifique!

Chanel

Enjoying without Chanel is like shopping without your credit card. You just miss something. As a finishing touch, I powder my reborn body with the N°5 body powder.

Completely fruity, I move to the couch to consume an entire season of Scandal. Oh wait, I have a gala soon! Bye lazy Sunday…
