Something about getting younger and a serum

It's been on my mind for a year or so: the fact that I'm about to leave my twenties. Bo wrote yesterday about the big 3-O. Now I still have about ten months to go, but my skin sometimes seems to be playing tricks on me. A little frown here, a laugh line there. Oh well, we won't die from it and we certainly won't get ugly right away. But if I receive a little serum that promises to counteract ‘fatigue, dullness, and sunken facial features’, well then you definitely have my attention. We're talking about the, listen closely, Hydra-Hylal intensive hydrating plumping concentrate with hyaluronic acid from Laboratoires Filorga (available from May at Douglas & Ici Paris XL for € 35,-). Just typing this took me at least three minutes. If those difficult abracadabra terms give me a fresher look, I'm all for it.

And…?

I try to take it easy every weekend. But the fact described above (turning thirty) has caused a little devil on my shoulder to whisper strictly in my ear every Friday afternoon at five o'clock: “Now you can still have some Coco, go ahead and enjoy some wine. You can stop on Sunday.” I listen to that softly, resulting in a saggy Monday morning head.

Fortunately, we have the Hydra-huppelepup that can nicely fix up my blasé head. I apply the gel-like serum over my applied day cream. It feels fresh and smells really nice. I don't know if it's due to that penetrating yet pleasant scent or the development of the serum. In any case, I feel above average fruity! My skin also seems a bit fluffier than usual. I pamper my dark circles a bit extra (they're screaming for it), which doesn't make them disappear at all, but it does provide a sort of calming feeling. As if they have been running and finally getting some water. This suits me well at the difficult start of the week. Although I'm not really into creams or serums (I have one jar at home), I decide that this cooling stuff can stay for a few more days. How I look after seven days of applying it, I will gladly let you know next week. Bye!
