THE COOLEST COOKBOOKS
OF THE MOMENT
As if all cookbooks are just popping up from the ground. I can almost add a new shelf every month to collect everything together. And I haven't even talked about the time I want to read them and cook from them. But to be honest: I can never get enough of them. In the past few months, a lot of new books have also landed in stores and I will tell you about the coolest ones.
Jamie Oliver – Super Food
Not quite in stores yet, but I have already reserved this one. Duh. It's Jamie. I was a bit surprised that he came out with this book, because I really like Jamie because he stays far away from chia seeds and spirulina, but after reading some reviews, you really don't have to be afraid that the cupboard will be opened.
Super duper healthy food, but anything but boring. And you can bet that the most delicious pastas and sandwiches are also served.
Chickslovefood – The skinny-six cookbook
Exactly what the title says. Recipes that require no more than six ingredients, but are still super healthy. A book close to my heart. The kitchen is my favorite place in the house, but I do love simple cooking and these women do that well. And if they also reassure you that you can enjoy every recipe without worry, this is also a super fun book to give as a gift. Not too thick, not too expensive, and it all looks delicious.
Miljuschka Witzenhausen – Miljuschka’s Food Trucks
Oh, I am such a fan of this woman. During a press trip in Saint-Tropez I could talk to her about food for a thousand hours and we still wouldn't be done. And healthy eating? Meh. What does that matter, it just has to be incredibly delicious and that is the most important thing. Just like in her book where she shares recipes from food trucks. Toasties, tacos, burgers, ice cream, cake, everything. Miljuschka looks sharp herself and that is mainly because she can own everything about herself. Just trust her.
Ellen Hoog – In perfect condition
A body like Ellen? Then you should read her book. People, she has a serious six-pack, hallelujah. A book about sports and food. How do you exercise and how do you eat afterwards to get fit or stay fit? Exactly what we need. With many healthy recipes (really some sweets too), but it is also a do-it-yourself book because it contains complete workouts and some additional exercises. Goodbye gym subscription, hello ‘In perfect condition’.
