THE FAST DRYER
– 8 times your hair dries quickly without a hairdryer –
I don't know how it is for you, but after asking around here in the editorial office, it turns out that everyone hates the hairdryer ritual ’in the morning. Actually, it's only May who shows up here in the morning with her hair curled and well styled at the office, and Jet and Lies often appear here with wet hair. I suspect I have tried my best, but usually, it's already dried out from the long train journey I've just had. Alright. Here they come. Eight tips that will help you achieve that perfect hair without having to grab the hairdryer for half an hour.
Use conditioner
It's not just a miracle product to finally get the brush through your hair painlessly, it also helps to give your hair a coating that allows water to slide off instead of being absorbed. Just an extra drop conditioner therefore.
Squeeze that stuff out
Your hair, that is. Before you put the towel over it, squeeze it out under the shower first so you get all the water out. A towel makes the hair extremely dry (not dry dry, but dull), so pat the towel over your hairdo so you're not too rough while drying. You can also try drying with paper towels, as that helps reduce the frizz. te verminderen.
Focus on the roots
When you're drying your hair, make sure to dry the roots first with the towel. Once those are dry, the ends will dry much faster.
Microfiber towel
Wrap your hair in a special microfiber towel. Just make a turban on your head. Put it on right after showering, then have breakfast, get dressed, and do your makeup. After a quarter of an hour, your hair will be super dry.
Microfiber brush
The fibers of the brush absorb all the water from your hair. Brush well and your hair is dry. Well, okay, almost dry then.
Shake it
After you've patted your hair dry with the towel, do a little shake. Bend your head upside down and shake it from side to side. Use your fingers to loosen your hair a bit. The shaking helps circulate air through your hair and also immediately removes the knots and clumps that hold all the water.
Sunbathing
Makes perfect sense, because you understand that direct sunlight helps dry your hair. The best is, of course, to stand in a windy spot, as that dries it much faster.
Dry shampoo
Duh. Of course, you use dry shampoo. Then you don't have to wash your hair, you get an instant volume boost, and there's absolutely no stress in the morning. At least, if you don't spray too much because a gray head will soon be around the corner. And then you have to wash it. So you can start back at point 1.
