Hello there!

– The four biggest trends in the best hair colors –

A month ago I dyed my hair for the first time
coloured my hair. The intention was some blonde highlights, but it ultimately became a completely new haircut that had to throw me in the direction of Alexa Chung I was called a copper kettle by a colleague, I won't name names. So I really need to pay a visit to the hairdresser This got me thinking; what trends are currently in the field of hair coloring? I researched and will tell you.

Blonde takes on two shades this summer. The cool, gray-blonde and ash colors are going away and making way for either warm blonde or baby blonde. At baby blonde you should think of the perfect blonde locks that children always have. And with warm blonde, you should think of soft shades of blonde that are combined to keep it very soft, not too warm (you don't want to go towards orange) and also not too full of color.

Colored hair is allowed, and I'm talking about purple, pink, and blue, but keep it in the light variant. So really very, very pastel. That you can hardly see it and thus looks like blonde, but with just a hint of purple dancing over it.

The ombre look is very passé and makes way for balayage. Sounds crazy, but it's a kind of transition of different shades of brown that turn out a bit darker. With ombre, it's often a lower edge of the hair that gets a different color, while with balayage, it's all more sketchy blended into the hair. The colors mahogany, chocolate, honey, and other warm shades are all colored together (by the hairdresser on the fly) creating all soft transitions.

Ecaille sounds really exciting to me because it's a French word for tortoiseshell and that means turtle shell. Now I find the tortoiseshell very beautiful, but applying it to my hair is another story. Still, it's a trend and seems to be incredibly cool. It's a bit between balayage and ombre. With balayage, it's a bit drawn, with ombre it's at the bottom, and ecaille is a kind of natural gradient from top to bottom.
