Seven summers in a bottle
Next week I am going goes on vacation.. And of course I have been keeping a close eye on the weather report; my urge for sun is actually enormous. However, that sun could still be hiding behind a cloud unfortunately. And here in the Netherlands, it's not too great either. This brought me to the following: there are actually plenty of nice summer scents that can evoke that summer feeling. Standard in the suitcase then. Or for you, if you stay in the Netherlands, standard in the bag.
Sole di Capri
I have never been to Capri and I don't see it happening for now, but then I have this scent as a little treat. The summer scent from Lancaster is always so incredibly nice. Very fresh, a bit sweet and especially very wearable in the sun. There is no alcohol in it, so no stains and especially a lot of enjoyment.

CK One Summer
This scent sounds like music to my ears. It is actually a kind of sprayable gin and tonic. Citrus, juniper and star anise. Well, that gives you energy. Extra nice if your boyfriend also wants to enjoy that tropical scent, because the scent is totally unisex.

Aqua Allegoria
I always find the summer scent from Guerlain incredibly nice. Due to the lime and orange, the scent is a bit on the spicy side. But it remains a summer scent, so it is definitely fresh. And the bottle, phew, that radiates summer all over, right?

Eternity Summer
It is a summer scent but a warm one. It leans a bit towards the sensual. This is due to the peony and amber in the scent. It reminds me a bit of the scent that surrounds you when you've been lying on the beach all day and then are sipping a cocktail in that nice beach tent.

Cool Water
This is a scent that reminds me of the past. Not because it was a lingering scent, but because it was my very first favorite. The blue bottle, god, how often did I receive that for Christmas and birthdays. This is the limited summer edition. Just as fresh and watery as before, but a tad sweeter. Ooh, maybe a new addiction.

Happy in Bloom
I have been looking forward to this for a long time, until the new Happy in Bloom would be there again. We know the scent by now, because it remains irresponsible. Cheerful and fresh due to the mix of fruit and flowers. The scent is dressed in a new outfit every year and this year the outfit suits this scent very well. Way too fun again. And delicious as always.

Bronze Goddess
Every summer, Estée Lauder launches an icon again. That is the Bronze Goddess by now. It is always an exotic scent and a bit sensual. Coconut milk, sandalwood, and vanilla are very warm, but tropical at the same time.
