This is how you fake a fresh face

BECAUSE IN EIGHT STEPS WE JUST CLEAN THAT HANGOVER AWAY

Unless you make the hair tie absolutely pregnant are or if you had to drive home feeling like crap, I assume you must have had a few drinks last night. And there will surely be a few more glasses tonight and tomorrow and many days after that. You are absolutely right. With the downside that your skin feels in the morning as if a bus has run over you and you can barely open your eyes. We'll solve that. No one will see it on you, because tonight you'll just look fresh again at dinner number two.

1. Splashing
Yes, a no-brainer, but start by splashing some cold water on your face. Preferably with a cleanser, but cold water will already be the first step towards a fresh complexion. The blood circulation gets going again, pores can breathe, and your face gradually regains its glow.

2. A glass of champagne
Champagne is said to be quite good against hangovers. Well okay, maybe not against the hangover, but definitely for the skin. It tightens the skin and alcohol actually pulls moisture out of your face instead of giving it a little extra. So the choice is yours. It might be better to drink a few extra glasses of water. This brings back the color (which champagne does not) and the skin breathes through it.

3. Nourish
Water and cleansing provide long-term solutions, but to cover up the fatigue, choosing a CC cream is not a bad idea. This nourishes the skin and balances the color. If you prefer to use foundation, and the damage is quite severe, apply that first and then use concealer. The result will be prettier that way. Apply concealer with dots, which gives you the most natural effect and secretly gives your face a lift. You could definitely use that.

4. Aspirin
An aspirin is probably already on the menu for tomorrow morning. Wise, because it's also good for the skin. Aspirin has properties that can reduce redness and a bloated appearance.

5. A blush
A bit of pink on the cheeks instantly brings your face to life. You look a lot healthier and more awake right away. It can also go on the lips, because with a lipstick you complete the look immediately.

6. Fake the big eyes
Droopy eyes are terrible. Just massage them with your fingers to wake everything up again or place a slice of cucumber on your eyes. Puffy eyes are the first thing someone looks at. You can hide them with a bit of eye cream, highlighter, and concealer. Mix all the products on your hand and apply the mixture not only under your eyes but also under the eyebrow. Don't forget that, because you can correct the bottom, but then it will show up again at the top. Furthermore, mascara works really well. Choose intense black, then the white in your eyes looks even whiter and radiates health. Preferably don't put mascara on your lower lashes, because that creates shadows and only accentuates the dark circles under your eyes even more.

7. Don't forget your hair
You probably don't have much time to wash your hair, so use dry shampoo. It gives your hair volume and makes it smell fresher again. Then just smooth it with the Mason Pearson brush, because that brings back the shine and liveliness. If you really have a serious hangover, it's best to wear your hair up. It looks fresh and if you wear it tightly back, it also gives a natural face-lift. A beachy look is out of the question today, because that gives a sluggish appearance.

8. Color
The most common mistake with a hangover is that you completely slather your face with foundation, do extreme eye makeup, and give your lips an extra coat. Don't do it. A bit of color is fine; think a blush on the cheeks or a soft color on the lips, but if you do everything at once, then you look ten years older rather than younger. That's not what you want.
