I may have a French name , but I really don't have the style of ‘la Française’ down very well. Effortless beauty is what it's also called. As if they just splash some water on their face and walk out the door in the morning. Not so beautiful, right? They also stand in front of the mirror to apply and touch up a few things. Only everything remains very natural and looks especially easy. Lancôme wants to make that very clear with the new mascara.
What does it promise?
Lancôme calls itself an expert in eye makeup. They were the first with mascara in a bottle and are always incredibly innovative in the field of mascaras. So yes, it must be true. With this mascara, they try to emphasize the expressions that French ladies have even more. Expression with the eyes is something those ladies are very good at, so that must be highlighted with a good mascara. Soft and sultry, expressive and grand; you should be able to achieve everything with a mascara. That's why this mascara is incredibly light, but with volume at the tip. Intense black, without the lashes becoming extremely hard, they remain very light and fluid.
How so?
This mascara has a very special brush. This is the first made of elastomer. Sounds exciting, but that means the brush is extremely flexible, allowing for a lot of precision. There are exactly 306 bristles on the brush that ensure the mascara can be applied very neatly yet richly.
This does it:
Josselin: “I am really a ‘sucker’ for lashes. . I can really struggle with that for a long time because I always want the biggest, longest, and most voluminous lashes. So actually, you will never catch me without a coat of mascara. The fact that there is volume in the name already makes me happy. It feels good. What I find very funny and nice is that there isn't much mascara on the brush when you take it out of the tube. It's actually very little. You wonder if that volume will actually become a reality. When you glide it over your lashes, you do notice a difference. The formula is so soft that you can spread it beautifully over your lashes. You really only need a tiny bit to lift your lashes. And they also become inky black. A funny detail is that the mascara also has a bit of a scent. They work with an extract of stem cells from roses, an exclusivity of Lancôme, which leads to softer, smoother, and fuller lashes. And that rose scent is part of it. So I'm happy with this mascara because it doesn't give an extremely heavy sticky effect, but provides a very beautiful eye look.”
