WHAT DAY MEANS WHAT
FOR YOUR DATE?

Have you ever thought that the day you have a date might say a lot about that date? Just a theory that a friend and I were trying out recently, and we were actually quite satisfied with it.
Monday
Monday is perhaps the most sexless day of the week. You're still tired and possibly hungover from the weekend, you've had to drag yourself through the first workday, and in the evening you have to sit down and have a nice time with a guy? Come on. On the other hand, if you meet on Monday, then you really want to see each other and that says something too.
Tuesday
Is already a lot more fun. I've had quite a few successful dates on Tuesday, and at one point it was even a regular thing to go out for dinner with that person every Tuesday. But Tuesday is still a bit boring, and this sounds very paradoxical, but you don't want to want to see the person in question so much that you give up your tired Monday for it. Tuesday says: “Yeah okay, I might like you, but let's just see how it goes. Oh and p.s.: I'm definitely sleeping at home.”
Wednesday
Look, now it gets fun. Everyone loves Wednesday because on Wednesday the week is nicely halfway. You're completely over the previous weekend, looking forward to the upcoming weekend, so the mood is good. Unlike Tuesday, Wednesday says: “Yeah, I like you. I want to take my time for this and all options are open…”.
Thursday
Thursday is the new date night. What’s more, Thursday is generally the new party night. The hottest, trendiest parties are on Thursday because apparently, hot trendy people don’t have to go to the office on Friday. You might go out for dinner on the days before, but on Thursday you “have a drink” and we all know how those can end. Thursday is for people who know they will end up between the sheets and at the same time really want to give each other the chance to be more than a fleeting one-night stand. But be careful, you’re not so far along that you want to sacrifice precious weekend time for each other.
Friday
We're almost at the holy grail. Friday is party night, people are happy that the week is over, looking forward to beer beer beer and they want to do that with you. You meet later in the evening or right after work, which can make it feel a bit forced, but nonetheless, there’s no boss waiting for you the next day, so you can really let loose.
Saturday
Bingo! This is scoring. Whoever gives up for a date on Saturday says a lot with that, because Saturday is the most precious evening of the week. A Saturday date? Count on dinner dates and who knows what else.
Sunday
This is just terrible. You both didn’t see any opportunity to meet earlier in the week, so Sunday was the only option left. You're tired from the weekend, need to catch up on sleep and rest for the next day, so Sunday is just a no-go.
