WITH THESE POLISHED NAILS
you'll make a huge impression this winter
The trend of nail art I have let pass me by for a while. Don't get me wrong, I think it's incredibly impressive what everyone always creates as little artworks on their nails, but I prefer sophisticated and well-done. Now there are a few trends for nails this winter that have sparked my enthusiasm. I love interior trends and the fact that these trends have now also crossed over to the nail world only makes me more cheerful.
Marble nails
Where it used to be very old-fashioned and a bit stately, that's no longer the case. I really am crazy about marble in any way. My iPhone case has a marble print, a friend has a super cool marble table, and it also does really well on Instagram. So take those nails along too. It's back. You do have to create some artistic scenes and it might take a bit more patience, but marble looks incredibly good.
Knitted nails
This winter, your home is of course filled with knitted blankets, poufs, and baskets, and even vases and lamps are adorned with a knitted print. And of course, we prefer to wrap ourselves in a knitted outfit or sweater. My biggest fear back then was that there would be a duvet print on my nails after painting, but you don't have to worry about that anymore. You can even go a little overboard. As if you've printed a miniature sweater on your nails.
A touch of metallic
Look, I'm not saying your home has to become a huge Space Mountain, but a touch of metallic doesn't hurt anyone. Personally, I find copper a little passé, but translated to nails, it can be huge. And a golden little house is nice for Christmas, but even after that, you don't have to play Gemma Glitter. The same goes for nails. A touch of metallic and keep the rest nude.
