11 PROBLEMS DURING YOUR FIRST VACATION VLOGGING

The diehard Amayzine reader already knows that I was recently in Barcelona. And otherwise, you can here take a peek here. What you don't know yet is that I recorded a video there that will be online soon. And in that video, I also talk to the camera. God help me. Help. My first vlog. That's really damn difficult, I can tell you.

And that's why, all the thoughts that go through your head during the first time vlogging...

1. Okay, okay, here I go. How do I open? Hello dear viewers? Hiiii, here I am? No way, stupid. DAFUCK how do you start.

2. You grab your camera and talk about - well, what actually? Uh, let's practice first then?

3. I suddenly become painfully aware of myself. Does my right eye always look so lazy when I talk? I can't have my sunglasses on in all the shots, can I?

4. Hmm, my first walking-outside-and-talking shot looks pretty embarrassing. I totally fall flat as a first-time vlogger.. But hey, after about five tries, I'm totally into it.

5. Why am I only now realizing that I'm looking over the lens? Very handy, Kiek.

6. Shit, I filmed this part upright. Read: unusable. Read: hate my life.

7. Does video photoshopping exist? Can SOMEONE do something about that chubby chin? Thanks.

8. “Honey, can you film one more time that I come walking in here semi-spontaneously? The light was just not right.”

9. “No darling, sorry, really one more time. I'm just going to let my hair down.” And in the meantime, your boyfriend goes loco.

10. Crap, it was too dark on screen. Why didn't I quickly film this and that and that? $%&*@

11. Editing is a bitch. It just needs to be said sometimes.
