FOR A CHEERFUL MORNING

I can sometimes be a bit grumpy in the morning. That has more to do with the time: the earlier it is, the harder I find it to get started. Still, it is very important to do your best to start the morning cheerfully because that often determines the rest of the day as well. I will give you my tips on how to hop on your bike to work whistling.

1. First of all: go to bed on time. That makes a big difference in the morning when it comes to your mood. Try to sleep before 11:00 PM. 2. Make sure you have a nice sound as an alarm clock. A blaring alarm won't make you cheerful. Maybe you can set your favorite tune or song as a wake-up call.

3. Throw your window open for a bit of fresh air; that will give you an instant boost.

4. Put on some upbeat music and do a little dance in the living room or under the shower.

5. Light the candles. That sounds a bit airy-fairy, but it helps me enormously to have.

a calm morning and it also adds a cozy touch. 6. If you have a partner, give him or her a huge morning hug.

It can be that simple.
