7 TIPS TO MAKE YOUR HOUSE PHOTO-PROOF
Your house is by far the most beautiful. But how do you photograph it for Airbnb or when you are selling? My place had to look its best in the photos, because of moving plans. And these are the seven points that you (I mean) keep in mind.
1. Professional photography
Does your house need to be drool-worthy? Like: I want to live there, I want to rent that? Then link your arm with that of a professional photographer. It might be a small investment, but you will earn it back double and more in responses and renters.
2. Cleanliness
Make your place clean. No way, Sherlock. But really. Those scattered keys might not bother you, but they will someone else. And when everything shines and is fresh, you see that reflected in the pictures. So look at your house with the eyes of your (clean) mother before that photographer arrives. If you are standing in front of the lens to be viewed online from a hundred angles, you also want makeup, right?
3. Pure nature
And I don't mean that plant, even though a plant is always a good idea. Make sure you don't go too crazy with Photoshop. Nothing is more disappointing than stepping over the threshold and finding it doesn't match up.

4. Less is more
Super cute, that porcelain cat collection. But what if your buyer or renter is a dog person? Trouble ahead. Remove your personal stuff. Start with the photos of everyone you love (sorry), followed by the excess candles and end with the Unicura pump in the bathroom. Less becomes a plus here.
5. Luxury props
To continue on your Unicura pump; luxury interior props are allowed again. Position your Rituals set carefully in the kitchen and pull your most beautiful perfume bottle out of the cupboard. On the table, place a beautiful bouquet of flowers (not the one from the pump), or a chic carafe of water with some mint and lemon. It’s all in the details.
6. Funda-proof
If you are super duper happy with the photos, the realtor might complain. Or well, not the realtor, but Funda. Your photos need to pass a technical checklist before they go online there. Tip from an experienced person: call the best realtor first.
7. And there was light
Works like a charm, those roller blinds. But do they do anything else? Up with that stuff. Make sure your house is bathed in a sea of light. And if the day starts in fifty shades of gray, just reschedule the appointment. Something about a radiant result and so on.
