7 X GET RID OF YOUR BRACES FEAR
As I told you here, braces are really in. It's just the new Chanel bag. If you don't have it, you don't count. Nonsense, of course, but the time when you were ashamed as an adult woman because there were brackets on your teeth is really over now.
I recently spoke to one of our hair queens from The Building, who despite her perfectly straight teeth still got braces. “I just want to get it right,” was her motivation and she was looking forward to a project.
For everyone with braces fear (yes, L. And A., I'm talking about you), I am now going to list seven points on why you should also get braces.
1. Everyone has it. Braces are the new black.
Or did you want to wait until crooked teeth come into fashion?
2. It won't just go away
In fact, it only gets worse. As you get older (painful, painful), your jaws shrink and that puts pressure on your teeth.
3. The brackets are now white
So you can hardly see them anymore...
“I just want to get it right”
4. Invisalign exists
That's a clear brace that you can hardly see. And let's be honest: it's pretty crazy to not use a tool for ten months because you don't like how it looks and yet want to walk around with ugly teeth for your whole life.
5. Invisalign can be taken out
If you need to speak in front of a group or have something important and don't want your braces to distract, you can just take them out for a bit.
6. You don't have to bite down anymore
Do you know that terrible practice at the dentist or orthodontist where you have to bite into a gooey mess and your whole mouth fills with a sludge that makes you feel like throwing up but you have to hold on for three minutes? Well, you don't have to do that anymore, because now they make a 3D video of your teeth with a pen.
7. You will eat less
Whether you choose traditional braces or Invisalign, you become more aware of your eating moments (because either you have to brush afterwards or you take your retainer out and in) and will snack less in between.
So... No reason not to do it. Are you in?
