WHY AIR CANADA IS SO GREAT

I think I've already explained why Toronto is so great (here for example, or here), so it's high time you discover it for yourself. And of course, you book that ticket with Air Canada, and for the following reasons.

1. To start with, because they fly non-stop from Amsterdam to Toronto. And since no one is happy about layovers, this is really a fantastic advantage.

2. And once you have that direct flight, you have the most legroom in economy class of all airlines flying there.

3. So there you are, with all your legroom, and right in front of you is a wonderful inflight entertainment system with over 600 hours of movies, series, music, documentaries, and inflight yoga. The latter seems very interesting to try out during the flight. “Excuse me, sir, would you mind if I do the upward facing dog for a moment? Thank you very much.”

4. You know; I love airplane meals. You get those completely free from Air Canada and you also get free alcoholic beverages. I don't need to explain why that's good news.

5. Those who have a bit more to spend and can pay for a seat up front arrive extra comfortably. The seats in business class can be transformed into real beds at the push of a button, complete with a pillow and duvet.

6. You can also fly to America with Air Canada. And that's nice because then you go through American passport control and customs in Toronto. You don't have to pick up your luggage or check in again in Toronto, which you would have to do if you were just transferring in the States. It saves a lot of time and hassle because the lines at customs in America are almost always terribly long.

7. And good to know: Air Canada flies to more than 120 cities in North America.

8. There is a partnership with Lufthansa and United, allowing flights to be combined into one ticket, thus offering even more choice of destinations and flight options.
