Let me just say: huge spoiler alert. If you want to watch the special that half the world is talking about today, definitely do not click through. Otherwise: this is a treat.

Our friends from The Hills were off the air for over 6 years. And how we missed our favorite LC. Yesterday she was back, and how. In The Hills Special ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’ she finally reveals all the secrets of the series. Because the burning question remained: was it all staged? Or was there a kernel of truth in it?

So here they come, Lauren's 9 biggest revelations (last chance to click away now…).

1. Lauren really thought she worked at Teen Vogue

She was seriously intensely nervous for her interview. Her father later found it a bit naive, because we all knew she was going to get that job for the series.

2. Lauren's parents heard everything before it aired

“Hot tip, if you’re going to be on reality television, tell your parents about it,” Lauren said laughing. Smart girl.

3. Lauren kicked Jason out of the house and then changed the locks

We did see their break-up in the series, but how and what always remained a mystery. But trust Lauren: it got intense. And oh yes, fun fact: Jason was addicted to alcohol at the time.

4. The scripts for the club nights were always written in advance

And Lauren claims she knew nothing about it. “I was so mad at Heidi and Spencer because of the sex tape rumor that I couldn't stand being in a room with them. Yet the producers managed to lure us together. How the evening would go was already completely on paper. Without us knowing.”

5. Kim K. almost made it onto the show

Of course because of her stepbrother Brody Jenner. Kim was at a house party at Heidi and Spencer's and in the never-before-seen footage (and there is a lot of it) we see crazy Kimmie and Heidi enthusiastically chatting about jellyfish in the aquarium and the VMA invitation. It's a shame that got cut out.

6. The reason for the huge fight (that mascara tear, you know) between Lauren and Audrina was a bit different than the creators suggested

Audrina lived in that nice guest house, and felt it necessary to put a lock on the door to keep LC out. LC didn't think that was cool. That's when the bitch fight happened. But that was never shown like that in the series.

7. Everything between Brody and Lauren was fake

I almost want to cry. The so-called crush between LC and Brody was totally staged by the producers. “He was really just a friend, there was no chemistry between us, even though we had to pretend. I understood why.”

8. Lauren had known for a while that she wanted to stop with the series

“It messed up my friendships, relationships, and basically my whole life. When I was no longer happy, I knew it was time to stop. But the decision wasn't made lightly, because I had lived that way for six years.”

9. Lauren's husband William Tell has consciously never watched The Hills

Because he prefers not to see his wife the way she used to be. “I don’t wanna know that you,” he said to her.

And well, even though all this sounds semi-negative, when asked if she would participate in the series again if asked, LC absolutely says YES. Because at the end of the day, just look at what it has brought her. We get you, Lau.
