AND THIS IS HOW IT REALLY GOES AT THE AMAYZINE EDITORIAL OFFICE

“Hey, you’re wearing something different!” I hear that quite often from mothers at the schoolyard. They have seen the Look of the Day (kudos!) and then see me tripping across the yard in a different outfit.

No, we are not from the company List & Deception or from the bureau Nothing Is As It Seems, but it’s actually never the case that I wear exactly that clothing on the day the Look of the Day appears.

That’s because our photographer is a busy woman who comes to the office every now and then, where we wait for her with suitcases of clothing. Well, one of us has a bit more looks than the other. Jet sometimes forgets altogether (our dear Jet can be a bit forgetful and these are 8 other things you probably didn’t know about her) and then picks some items from each of us to make her outfit completely Look of the Day-worthy, and I often let my addicted self loose in the Pauw store in Heemstede (proof) to put together all kinds of looks with ‘their’ Charlotte. That’s actually my favorite little task.

When Vivi comes, we go one by one with her into the city, looking for spots with good light, a calm background, and preferably not too many whistling types. Anyway, just take a look at this video. And promise me you won’t laugh at my fall?
