ANNA NOOSHIN ON EXPEDITIE ROBINSON

Also dating with a Robinson on a tropical island tonight? Kiek and I do; at half past eight sharp the show starts on RTL5. Anna Nooshin went on an expedition and shares with us what she can and cannot tell about her adventure.

What are you not allowed to talk about?

“I can't say anything about the course of the expedition, but I also can't mention details. So about how long I was there, the trials, and whether there were intrigues. It's tough, because I want to share everything. But for that, you just have to watch.”

And why did you actually participate in Expeditie Robinson?

“It was my dream to participate. Being somewhere where no one expects anything from you, the game element, being completely taken out of your life. I can't compare it to anything. Of course, I had an idea, but you don't know what it's like until you're in the middle of it.”

The last thing you did before your departure?

“Eating, but really everything, okay! Fries, pizza, cheese…”

Did you go there with a certain mindset?

“Honestly? Not really. I went in pretty blank. The time before the expedition was so hectic due to the launch of my second book and the lingerie line for Hunkemöller. Of course, I felt the tension before I left, but I just thought: stay as calm as I can and let it come over me.”

What was in your backpack?

“Two shirts and a pair of shorts, a bikini, and Teva sandals. That was it.”

Did you encounter yourself on the island?

“Definitely, I think everyone encounters themselves on such an island. It was special and you'll see that.”

What did you learn from the expedition?

“That I love my work intensely and am happy with the course I'm currently taking. I'm lucky to have all those lovely people around me and the fact that I can be creative every day. Of course, you always know that, but when you're not here, you're confronted with it. And then the realization comes.”

Do you look at your life differently now that you're back?

“No, precisely because I'm so happy with how everything is going.”

And beauty/fashion-wise, what did you miss the most?

“A toothbrush. But the bizarre thing is that you really don't need toothpaste or a toothbrush in your life. If you don't eat sugars, your teeth clean themselves. Everyone suddenly had very white teeth.”

Which expedition member was totally different than you thought?

“One of the Robinsons is so fun and chill, you just don't expect that.”

And when you came back, what did you do first?

“Eat even more than before the trip. Seriously, something like fifteen thousand calories. A burger with four cheeses from Burger King, a bag of mini-Snickers, and even more chocolate and cheese.”

What were you craving?

“CHEESE. But really, cheese in all forms and kinds. And chocolate.”

Tonight, what are we going to see?

“It's such an exciting episode that you'll be on the edge of your seat.”

Can you lift a tiny, tiny, tiny corner of the veil?

“Uh, no.”

Why should everyone participate in Expeditie Robinson or not?

“Because this is an experience you will never have again. Being taken out of your life like this is unique.”
