BLONDES DO IT BETTER
I immediately realized that blondes have more fun after Leco dipped my hair in peroxide. Look here for a moment at how that came to be. Or well, it was probably something much better than peroxide (that man seems like the amanuensis of chemistry with all his jars, but a very handsome and well-dressed one), but anyway, for the first time I was introduced to the phenomenon of traffic stopper. Seriously. Cars stopped. Men laughed, winked, and all while I was exactly the same. Just with blonde hair.
And there is more good news for ‘us blondes’. Namely that ‘we’ more often make it to CEO of a company. The University of British Columbia even did a study on this. 48% of female CEOs are blonde and 35 % of female politicians. While only two percent of male CEOs are blonde.
Two percent.
What’s funny is that the facts don’t quite align with the perception. Show someone a photo of a woman with dark and with blonde hair and then ask who they think the director is, and that person will point to the dark-haired one.
Blonde women are seen as younger than they are (fine), but also as people who stand up for themselves less and would push their own agenda less. Well, let them think that. In the meantime, ‘we’ (because I am after all a fake blonde) have become a nice CEO. See, blondes do have more fun. Leco, I'm on my way!
