FINALLY it can be announced: starting next week, the recordings for the first series of KPN called Brussels will begin. The script is written by Leon de Winter and while reading it, I knew: this is going to be something spectacular. The series takes place in the world city of Brussels. My character Nadja lives in Brussels and has just met the love of her life. But as with any drama, there is of course an abrupt end to that love... I have never been to Brussels, so I am already looking forward to exploring the city. Any tips?
’In the morning, I don't leave the house without gloves and a thick winter hat, but last week I really felt it: spring is in the air! I immediately pull more pastel colors from my closet and secretly look online at the latest spring/summer collections. Now, I am a huge sucker for tough boots, but as soon as the temperature allows, I can't wait to get my open shoes and sandals out. And then I stumbled upon these beauties from United Nude online. A few weeks ago, the new healthy hotspot of Amsterdam opened its doors: SNCKBR. The concept immediately appealed to me: a very healthy menu, but for those who want something a little less healthy, there are, among other things, bitterballen and hamburgers, but with a healthy twist. After all the positive stories, I couldn't wait to go there myself. Together with Andy Torres, we tackled the lunch menu and I immediately felt happy when I saw the dishes. We went for the healthy wraps and shared a portion of banana bread made from almond flour. The verdict? I immediately rescheduled all my lunch appointments to this location...
Every now and then, I receive an invite in my mailbox that makes me ecstatic just by seeing the sender: it's time for another Like My Brand event! It's always a joy to see what the latest trends are in the field of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. I immediately fell in love with the new collection from Est1842 and the ecological makeup line from Mineralogie. As a conclusion, we enjoyed a delicious dinner, including my self-portrait from the very talented Amanda van Effrink. I'm already eagerly staring at my mailbox for the next invite...
Some time ago, I shared with you my new love for beautiful lingerie. In the past, I didn't care if I combined a black bra with a nice flashy pair of panties from H&M, but now I found the adult step to a matching ‘brief’ quite appropriate. During the sample sale of Love Stories, I completely went overboard: I can probably provide the whole street with new underwear! So I made an agreement with myself that I would be more than set for the coming year. Until the new collection from Lingadore showed up at my doorstep. Beautiful lace sets in pastel shades, sigh... Yes, but I didn't have this color yet!
