CHEAP FLIGHTS AROUND THE HOLIDAYS? THEN YOU NEED TO BOOK NOW

The more devices competing in the battle for Queen B tickets, the better your chances. Don't just grab your phone, but also your computer, tablet, laptop, everything you have at home. Also, open multiple browsers. Who knows, Google Chrome might be faster than Firefox or Safari. so I'm thinking about celebrating New Year's abroad for the first time this year New Year's abroad . Including bestie and our two guys. Seemed like a super tight plan, but the destination is still a bit of a question... (if you know a super cool NYE spot, just email me at kiki@amayzine.com).

Whatever you do, if you press the F5 key (refresh), you'll get a nasty STD. Just remember that. So don't press it, or you'll end up at the back of the line again. then you have to sit down with four agendas to figure out when to go and come back, and that's difficult with Generation Y'ers nowadays, difficult. A totally unnecessary luxury problem of course, but hey, everything with the word problem in it should be taken seriously. Or at least a little.

At exactly 10:00 AM, when ticket sales start, have all your screens open (no, not exaggerating; as I just said, already at 6:00 AM...). Sitting on the site before 10:00 AM is pointless. You may be on the site, but you're not in the queue for the tickets. finally, it's still a bit of a question when it's smart to book. But bam, the answer just came in my mailbox, that time is now. As in: NOW. Also thinking about a Christmas or New Year's break? Then dive behind the screen quickly, girlfriends, because at the beginning of November you seem to pay the least euros for a trip around the holidays. And no, I'm not just babbling, those are the hard facts. Travel comparison website Momondo.nl analyzed 13.2 billion flight prices from the 100 most popular routes. As if those people have time to spare, you would think.

Bottom line: there's a good chance you'll save an average of about 28 percent if you book around this week. 28 PERCENT. As if the whole holiday season isn't expensive enough, the popularity of flights also nicely drives ticket prices up. So, spread the word: book on average about 56 days before departure. Preferably on a Tuesday too (saves another 11 percent compared to Saturday) and hey, if it can also be in the afternoon, leave between 3:00 PM and 12:00 AM.

Do you think of me when you pop the champagne on your little balcony and watch the fireworks? I'll make a list of the 10 most popular destinations among Dutch people and the best time to book. You're welcome.
