Goed haar is een goede dag

May just paid another visit to Leco and I also had the scissors in my hair again. No spring jitters, just weekly business. Not only are we slightly obsessed with our hair , there has been a study among quite a few Dutch people that confirms we all want to have the perfect hairstyle. And since we also love facts and figures, we’ve lined them up for you here., 1 in 10 Dutch people never goes to the hairdresser.

People who do.

go to the hairdresser go an average of 541 times in their lives. Sometimes with a more rigorous result than other times, but at least they sit in the chair every six weeks. The total amount we all spend on hairdressers in our lives is around 11,000 euros. Now we did some calculations and that averages out to about 20 euros per haircut. I can whisper to you that you don’t have to feel guilty if you spend a little more; the editorial team of Amayzine actually spends about three times more. A little footnote doesn’t hurt, because this study included both women and men. And yes,.

they don’t spend nearly as much money as we do, so that brings the amount a bit more in balance., men On average, we spend about 80 days in our lives trying to style our hair. So basically, we’re quite a bunch of vain people.

But hey. All this is not for nothing, you really gain confidence from a good hairstyle. It gives a boost, we can say. 52% of women say they feel much more confident with a good hairstyle.

While our editor in chief May-Britt opted for a fresh new cut, I too opted for a head full of ‘new’ hair. Nothing to do with having the spring jitters, just weekly business. Everyone is slightly obsessed with their hair and that’s not all. I would like to introduce you to a study that was done in the Netherlands which only further intensifies everyone’s obsession with the perfect head of hair. And since we’re also just as obsessed with facts and numbers, here are some of the figures from the research done in my home country.

The people that do go to the hairdresser go an estimated 541 times in their lives. Sometimes with a more rigorous outcome than other times, but planted in a hairdresser’s chair roughly once every six weeks.

The average amount that they spend to get our hair trimmed in their lives is around 11.000 euros. We did the math here out or HQ and that is roughly 20 euros per chopping session. I just want you to know that you don’t have to feel guilty if you spend more because everyone here at our office spends at least three times the amount. A small footnote never hurt, especially since this research was based on both males and females in the country and well men, they obviously never spend as much as we do, so they balance out the price average.

On average the Dutch spend 80 days in their lives styling their hair. So basically, our country is pretty much a group of very vain people.

But hey, it’s not for nothing. Great hair gives you confidence. A boost might even be a better word. 52% of Dutch females even says they feel much more self assured when their hair is on point.
