Today a Guilty Pleasures with one of the best dressed women in the Netherlands. But aside from all that beauty, we are of course very curious about the quirky traits, guilty pleasures, and strange tics of Lieke. In any case, something with cotton swabs… That becomes clear again.
Which movie, TV show, or series makes you cry every time?
“At Hello Goodbye, Notting Hill, all the news about child suffering, washed-up refugees (how is this even possible!?), but also in the commercials of Unox, Douwe Egberts, and Merci, haha! The wonderful family feeling, the love and warmth. I am an absolute crybaby in front of the TV.”
What bad music do you secretly enjoy?
“Carla Bruni. I just heard from my love that this falls enormously into the category of bad music ;-). I also love cabaret music, especially Dutch songs.”
Your ultimate guilty pleasure?
“Do you have a moment? Hazelnut chocolate, cleaning my ears with cotton swabs, and watching Dumb & Dumber.”
What is your secret hobby?
“Scouring flea markets in search of treasures and walking into the Stedelijk and the Rijksmuseum at the Museumplein. Oh, and I also collect beautiful, old books and actually look into them way too little.”
What is your strangest trait?
“I am actually never quiet. If I’m not talking, I’m humming, and even when I sleep, I seem to still be chatting.”
If someone asks if I locked the door, I always go back to double-check…
Do you have an obsession?
“I always have to check multiple times if the car is really locked, very peculiar.
If someone asks if I locked the door, I always go back to double-check. And again those cotton swabs, if I see them, they go in my ears…”
What would people really not expect from you?
“That I can park very well “That’s others in traffic.”!”
What is your biggest pointless irritation?
“What do you secretly eat on the couch at night that you really shouldn’t be doing?”
’Chocolate. Preferably Tony’s Chocolonely with the green wrapper.”
“The word ”nice’.”
Which word do you actually use just a little too often?
“Today a Guilty Pleasures with one of the best dressed women in the Netherlands. But aside from all that beauty, we are of course very curious about the quirky…‘
