Die je leven een stuk makkelijker maken
My uncle Frans lives in Italy. He makes the best olive oil, brews his own liqueur, and there are tons of homemade wine in his storage. And when everything is gone, he just makes new ones. Then he cooks the stars from the sky. In the morning, the pasta is freshly rolled and dried, and when you think: ’Wow, that was delicious, that plate of pasta. Just enough.“, then a huge chicken appears on the table. Or stuffed squid. Ton-ne-tje round. I try to catch up with Frans a bit about lighter variants, like strands of zucchini. I sent a Spirelli (such a device that you can use to make strands of vegetables) to Southern Italy and I received a fries maker in my mailbox from him. The game of sending each other the most handy kitchen tools has begun and from now on I will be scouring cooking stores and the internet every day.
Cherry pitter. What would you do without it?!
Mango slicer. The tastiest fruit on earth, but also very annoying to cut. People, there is a mango peeler.
Strawberry slicer. For perfect slices on your biscuit.
Melon slicer. Handy for taking to the picnic.
Garlic slicer. No more stinky hands.
