THE 6 THINGS WE ALL WANT FROM THE NEW COLLECTION BY MART VISSER

An intimate setting, front row seats only, a silver catwalk and a glass of champagne in hand. Yesterday, Mart Visser presented his new spring/summer collection and yes, where fashion and bubbles come together, Kiek was there.

Couturier Mart had to swallow hard after the bankruptcy of V&D, with whom he had collaborated for many years. But to start sulking? No way. The fashion titan immediately went back to the drawing board and in ten (people, I repeat: ten) weeks he created a complete collection. And we can all admire it starting today on his website www.martvisser.nl.

I present to you: the highlights from the new collection:

1. The leather pencil skirt (€79.95)

Makes me happy, and you probably too. The leather skirt can instantly give a simple look a rock & roll vibe and make it very sexy at the same time.

2. The army green suede dress (€139.95)

Heels on and done. Nothing more to do.

3. The cobalt blue cocktail dress (€99.95)

Chic party on the agenda? Then this is a top purchase. Cobalt blue just looks good on everyone. To make the look a bit looser, it's also great with a belt.

4. The stylish jacket (€189.95)

My good resolution for this year was, among other things, to wear more colorful jackets with embellishments and graphic prints. Just because Olivia Palermo does it so well. And now you can too.

5. The leather dress with zipper (€179.95)

This was the dress that most fashion bloggers were talking about after the show. Not too crazy, of course, the item is incredibly badass, yet chic. The Barcelona dress is also super cool to wear open as a jacket over jeans.

6. The black/white blazer (€149.95)

Eva Jinek was recently spotted in the ultra-chic jacket and I think many women will follow. Well done, Mart.
