HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU
7 signs that he’s just not that into you
Rejection stings. Especially when you’ve really become hopelessly in love. Don’t forget: it takes two to tango, and sometimes feelings are just not mutual. Crying, sobbing, bottle of vodka downing (just kidding). So, to channel my inner Miranda from Sex and the City (you know, that famous scene on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum in New York): 7 x he’s just not that into you. Here they come:
He only texts you after two in the morning
Girl, you’re nothing more than a booty call. He’s probably had a few beers and just wants some plain hanky panky.
Communication is just plain shit
Are you always the one who starts a conversation? And when he finally responds, it’s already a day later? Does his vocabulary not go beyond an ‘Okay’, ‘Yes’, and ‘No’? Sorry girl, he’s really just not that into you.
When you are together, he’s constantly texting others
Uhm, hello, wave wave, can I get some attention? No? He’s not feeling it. Insert sad emoticon here.
“Call out: Prince Charming, where can I find you?”
He has to ‘get up early’ the next day’
Instead of enjoying another ‘cup of tea’ or some ‘Netflix & chill’ after your date, he says he really has to get up very early the next morning for an important appointment. That’s fine if he has that appointment, but if he feels a connection, those few hours of sleep really shouldn’t matter to him.
You still haven’t met his friends and family
These are of course the most important people in his life. If you’ve been dating for a while but you’re never introduced to anyone, there’s a reason. If he doesn’t introduce you to the most important people in his life, you can safely say that you’re not that important to him either.
He never asks you anything personal
If a guy likes you, he really wants to know more about you. Even the simplest things like how your day was, what your favorite color is, what laundry detergent you use, your favorite toothpaste, (yes really, I’ve been asked those last two things – by the way, I was just not that into him), how you like your coffee in the morning (cappuccino, please)… Does he never ask? Then he’s not feeling it either.
He’s always ‘too busy’ and finding time to meet is always difficult
If he really likes you, he will make time for you. If not? Onto the next one, babe.
And we’re back to square one, because where is he then? Call out: Prince Charming, where can I find you?
